Project 2 Individual Contributions

For this project our group consisteted of Brandon, Hiro, and myself. We had all agreed that the project was split into 3 major tasks; the programing and code, the building of the car, and the mathmatical analysis and slides. We each took on a seperate task for this project, but of course helped each other as needed with each task. Brandon was assigned the coding as he had the most experience with coding compared to Hiro and I, Hiro took on the building of the car as he had a 3D printer at home and some previous experience with 3D design programs, and so I was left with the the mathmetical analysis and the slides. Both Brandon and Hiro did a very good job with the coding and building of the car. As for myself I felt as if I let my group down with the mathmatical analysis portion of the project. My understanding of the physical models is where I struggled the most as I did not know how to build a complete physics model of the car. Thankfully Brandon and Hiro helped with this portion of the project. As a group we were unable to build a complete physics model for the project as our understanding of this portion was not the best, but as a group we attempted to do as much as possible to the best of our abilities. The slides and presentation is where I spent a lot of my individual time and contribution the group. Knowing that Brandon and Hiro took on the bulk of the project I felt that I needed to do as much as possible to contribute to the project because I did not want my group to think that I was not contributing. I felt that slides and the presentation went well but I felt as if I let my group down with the mathmatical analysis. For this project I definetly wish we had more time in class to work on the project, but for the most part as a group we met outside of class quite often to work on the project and get as much done as we can outside of class. As a group I think we worked very well together and I am satisfied with how our project turned, although knowing the analysis could have used to some improvement. I am very proud of my group and the work we did as this project was not as easy as the first, and the trust I had in my group was very high and I hope that they had thought the same for me as well.
